LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Coatesville man is facing burglary and simple assault charges after he allegedly broke into a home with a baseball bat.

According to the Manheim Township Police Department, Bishar Abdullahalmalik Knight, 46, was found in the master bedroom of a Lancaster County home with two victims.

He was reportedly waving around a baseball bat but dropped it when police entered.

One victim told police that Knight no longer lives at the home but reportedly told the second victim, multiple times, to get out of the house.

Both victims were allegedly fearful that Knight was going to seriously hurt them.

One of the victims provided text messages from Knight to police that he would be out of the house by May 1. He reportedly moved out earlier and had not stayed at the home since April 17.

The victims also alleged that they had not seen the baseball bat before and believed that Knight brought it inside with him.

Knight has been charged with burglary, two counts of simple assault and two counts of terroristic threats.
