LANCASTER, Pa. — Police in Lancaster County have arrested a suspected burglar and stalker.

Jonathan M. Frederick, 31, of Lancaster, is accused of entering a victim's home on the 200 block of Meadow Lane twice without her permission, likely gaining entry through an unlocked window, according to Manheim Township Police.

In the latter alleged incident, which occurred on May 16, the victim returned home to find Frederick asleep on a couch and items in the home destroyed and damaged. Frederick allegedly cut the cords of multiple electronic devices, rendering them inoperable. He allegedly poured liquid on a gaming console and a living room sofa, and a bedroom mattress, threw the victim's personal items around a bedroom, and tore the victim's coat.

Other areas of the home had liquid on the floor, refrigerator, and cabinets, police said. Sauce was thrown on the kitchen blinds and a window sill, according to police.

The total amount of damage is estimated at $6,450, police claim.

According to the Manheim Township Police Department, Frederick was arraigned on June 3. He was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
