LITITZ, Pa. — Officials at Lancaster Airport were joined Monday by members of the Southern Airways Corporation to announce that the airline will begin offering service to Washington Dulles International Airport and Nantucket, Massachusetts.
Southern Airways is a Florida-based company founded in 2013. It has quickly grown to become one of the largest commuter airlines in the U.S.
Operating a fleet of Cessna Caravans and Grand Caravans, Southern Airways serves 30 cities with more than 220 peak-day departures from hubs in Baltimore, Dallas/Fort Worth, Honolulu, Kahului, Kona, Memphis, Palm Beach, Pittsburgh...and now Lancaster.
The company will soon begin offering daily flights to Washington and Nantucket from Lancaster Airport, which is located at 500 Airport Road in Lititz.
