Pedestrian killed in Lancaster County crash

The crash reportedly happened at 6:47 p.m. along Mount Joy and Lefever Roads in Rapho Township.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Emergency crews responded Thursday evening to a deadly crash involving a pedestrian. 

Lancaster County Emergency Dispatch confirmed that one person was struck by a vehicle in Rapho Township, Lancaster County. 

The crash reportedly happened at 6:47 p.m. along Mount Joy and Lefever Roads. 

Brenden Monte, 20, of York County, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, the Lancaster County Coroner's Office said. An autopsy determined his cause of death to be multiple traumatic injuries, and the manner of death is pending further investigation.

Manheim Borough Police are assisting.
