MOUNTVILLE, Pa. — A York man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly making a bomb threat at a Lancaster County business earlier this year.

According to West Hempfield Township Police, Pharohe Jahcovi Scott, 22, left a note saying "I have an IED in my car" in a designated employee smoking pavilion outside Americold Logistics, located on the 3800 block of Hempland Road in Mountville, on May 11.

Employees at the company discovered the note and contacted police, who responded to investigate with assistance from a Lancaster County Sheriff's Office K9, a York County Sheriff's Office K9 and a Lancaster Bureau of Police K9.

Once the scene was secured and the area cleared, investigators determined through interviews with witnesses and video surveillance footage that Scott left the note, police said.

Part of Scott's daily duties was clearing the trash can where the note was discovered, according to police.

Scott is charged with one count of threat to use weapons of mass destruction and one count of terroristic threats, police said. The charges were filed after consultation with the Lancaster County Districtx Attorney's Office.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Miles Bixler, according to police.
