COLUMBIA, Pa. — Police are investigating after burglars struck at two Lancaster County businesses overnight.
According to Columbia Borough Police, the affected businesses were located on the 100 block of Lancaster Avenue (Route 462). In each case, the suspects got inside the buildings by pushing in window-unit air conditioners, police said.
Once inside, the burglars took money from both locations.
The burglaries were captured on surveillance video. Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact Columbia Police at (717) 684-7735 or submit a tip online.
"Columbia Borough Police would also like to remind residents using window air conditioners to make sure the window is secured so that the air conditioner cannot be easily removed," the police department said.
