LANCASTER, Pa. — Police are investigating a shooting in Lancaster City that sent one person to the hospital early Monday, the city's police department said.
It happened around 4:50 a.m. along the 100 block of Pearl Street in the area of Bay Street. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Lancaster Bureau of Police spokesperson Stacia Korman.
Police at the scene told FOX43 News that it is believed to be an isolated incident and the investigation is ongoing.
The intersection at Pearl and Bay Streets was closed until about 8:30 a.m. while police investigated the scene, but the street has since re-opened.
