Police searching for missing Lancaster County man, disappearance considered 'suspicious'

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a missing Lancaster County man whose disappearance has been described as "suspicious in nature." 

According to PSP, on July 3, the Lancaster Criminal Investigation Unit was contacted about Matthew Whisman, 25. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are suspicious in nature, police said. 

He was last seen at the end of March 2024 at his home in East Drumore Township, Lancaster County. 

Whisman is described as a white Hispanic man. He is 5'8", weighs roughly 155 pounds and has dark brown hair. 

It's believed that Whisman has ties to Lancaster County and Maryland. 

Anyone with information on his location has been asked to contact PSP Lancaster at 717-299-7650.
