LANCASTER, Pa. — A Lancaster man is facing charges after police say he had sexual contact with an underage girl.

Raul Ramos, 23, is charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, disseminating sexually explicit materials, criminal use of a communication facility, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and indecent exposure, according to Manheim Township Police.

Authorities began investigating Ramos in June, after receiving multiple reports of the production and exchange of child pornography and traced the IP address the suspected pornographic materials originated from to him.

Police seized electronics belonging to Ramos on June 6, for them to undergo a forensic examination. Ramos allegedly admitted to viewing child pornography at that time, police reported.

The seized electronics were analyzed, and text message conversations that were sexual in nature, with Victim 1 were found. Text threads referencing having sexual contact with Victims 1 & 2 were also found, according to police.

Interviews with the victims revealed that Ramos had sexual contact with Victim 1, who was 15 years old at the time.
