Lancaster man charged with sexual assault

LANCASTER, Pa. — Police have charged a Lancaster man with sexual assault.

Tristan Rivera, 31, was identified as the suspect in an alleged sexual assault that was reported to authorities Monday at 7:49 a.m., according to Lancaster Police.

The incident was reported on the first block of West Chestnut Street, police said.

Investigators spoke with the victim and gathered information, including surveillance video, which helped identify Rivera as the suspect.

He was charged with indecent assault and later taken into custody at 3:44 p.m., according to police.
