LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Two people have been arrested and charged following a barricade situation.

According to the Quarryville Borough Police Department, on Monday, June 24 at 9:16 p.m., officers were dispatched to a disturbance along the 100 block of Groffdale Drive in Oak Bottom Village in Quarryville Borough.

At the scene, officers learned that the residents of the home reportedly got into a physical altercation with guests of theirs. The guests, identified as Braden Hunter and Joanna Hagens allegedly ran inside the home and barricaded themselves inside, with at least one shotgun, refusing to exit the home.

According to police, Hunter and Hagens ignored multiple attempts by police to voluntarily leave the home. As a result, the GPD elicited the assistance of the Lancaster County Special Emergency Response Team (SERT), who made entry into the home and arrested Hunter and Hagens without further incident.

Hunter has been charged with one count of criminal trespassing and both suspects were charged with defiant trespassing.
