LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Lancaster County police have ruled the deaths of two people found inside a home a murder-suicide.
According to the East Lampeter Township Police Department, on Aug. 7 at 7:08 p.m., officers responded to a home along the 2800 block of Lincoln Highway East in Ronks for a welfare check.
Inside the home, officers reportedly found a dead man and woman.
The Lancaster County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation.
The deceased man was identified as Kyle D. Heagy, 32, and the woman was identified as Ann M. Sellers, 47.
According to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office, both died on Aug. 7 at 9:37 a.m. from firearm-related injuries. Sellers' cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the head and was ruled a homicide. Heagy's cause of death was the same but was ruled a suicide.
