LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Update, 8/30, 9:53 a.m.: The Lancaster County Coroner's Office has ruled the five-year-old boy's death a result of fresh water drowning. The manner of death has been ruled accidental.

Police say a child is dead after they received a call for a river rescue on Sunday afternoon.
Susquehanna Township Regional Police responded to the call just before 12:30 p.m., north of the Falmouth Access Boat Launch.
It was reported a five-year-old was playing near the Susquehanna River, and fell into the water.
Authorities recovered the body of a deceased child near where the five-year-old was reportedly last seen. The Lancaster County Coroner's Office responded, and an identification will be completed soon.
Susquehanna Regional Police are investigating the incident.
