Two people dead after apparent domestic dispute in Lancaster County

COLUMBIA, Pa. — Two people are dead after an apparent domestic dispute Thursday afternoon in Lancaster County.

The incident occurred on the 2100 block of Oak Hollow Drive in West Hempfield Township, authorities said.

West Hempfield Township Police were dispatched to the scene at about 4 p.m. after a caller reported there were two unresponsive adults found in the home, according to Police Chief Lisa A. Layden.

Preliminary findings indicate the man and woman, whose identities have not yet been released by authorities, died after an apparent domestic incident.

No other details were immediately available.

West Hempfield Township Police are investigating with the assistance of the Lancaster Co. Forensic Services Response Team and the Lancaster County Coroner’s office.

Layden said there is no evidence at this time to indicate anyone else was involved, or that there is any related danger to the neighborhood or public.
