LEBANON, Pa. — Police in Lebanon County say a man responsible for the death of a North Lebanon Township woman died in a New Jersey car crash while fleeing from the scene of her murder.
Teresa Sanchez De-Sena, 42, was found dead in her Church Street home by police conducting a welfare check on November 7, 2023, according to North Lebanon Township Police. Her death is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
Hours before Sanchez De-Sena's body was found, police said, Alejandro Reyes-Moya, 52, was killed in a vehicle crash on Interstate 78 in New Jersey.
Police now believe Reyes-Moya is responsible for Sanchez De-Sena's death. The two were in a relationship that had ended just before her death, the investigation determined.
Police claim Reyes-Moya went into the Church Street home where Sanchez De-Sena's body was found in the early morning hours before her death, which is being investigated as a homicide.
The crash he was involved in occurred around 4:30 a.m. in New Jersey, police said.
The investigation of Sanchez De-Sena's death will continue "until we receive the final reports from the forensic pathologist and forensic scientist," North Lebanon Township Police said in a press release issued Friday.
