One person dead in Lebanon County motorcycle accident

An 18-year-old Lebanon male operating a motorcycle was pronounced dead on the scene after an accident with a tractor-trailer.

LEBANON, Pa. — Update, Oct. 22: The Lebanon City Police Department has confirmed the identity of the motorcyclist who tragically lost their life as 19-year-old Cameron Schollenberger, a resident of Lebanon. 

Authorities have also determined that Cyreio Greene, from Byram, Missouri, was the driver of the second vehicle involved in the accident. As the investigation remains active, the police are urging anyone with information to come forward and share their knowledge with the Lebanon City Police Department.

One person was pronounced deceased at the scene of a Lebanon County motorcycle accident.

On Oct. 18 around 9:15 p.m., the Lebanon City Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 10th St. and Walnut Street in Lebanon. According to dispatch, the accident involved a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer.

Upon investigating, police found the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Walnut Street and the tractor-trailer was traveling south on 10th St.

The motorcycle operator was pronounced deceased on the scene and was identified as an 18-year-old male from Lebanon, according to police.

Police stated that the operator of the tractor-trailer was interviewed by police and the investigation is ongoing.
