One person deceased in Lebanon County motorcycle accident

LEBANON, Pa. — One person was pronounced deceased at the scene of a Lebanon County motorcycle accident.

On Oct. 18 around 9:15 p.m., the Lebanon City Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 10th St. and Walnut Street in Lebanon. According to dispatch, the accident involved a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer.

Upon investigating, police found the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Walnut Street and the tractor-trailer was traveling south on 10th St.

The motorcycle operator was pronounced deceased on the scene and was identified as an 18-year-old male from Lebanon, according to police.

Police stated that the operator of the tractor-trailer was interviewed by police and the investigation is ongoing.
