Lebanon County church basement fire under investigation

​The deputy fire chief of Union Hose Co. said that the fire began in the church's basement, and the State Fire Marshal will investigate its cause.

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — A fire that began in the basement of Saint Anthony's Coptic Church in Lebanon is under investigation.

According to emergency dispatch, crews were sent to the 100 block of West Main St. in Annville Township around 5:00 a.m. on Dec. 12 for a fire.

The deputy fire chief Annville Cleona Fire Department said that the fire began in the basement of the church, and the State Fire Marshal will investigate the cause.

No one was inside the church at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.
