CORNWALL, Pa. — One person is dead and another injured after a boom truck came into contact with power lines in Lebanon County, police said Wednesday.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on the 500 block of Hemlock Lane in Cornwall, according to the borough's police department.
Police said a subcontractor was operating the boom truck when it came into contact with high-tension Met-Ed power lines, causing one victim to die of apparent electrocution and a second victim to be injured.
The second victim was transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment, police said.
The subcontractor's company is doing its own investigation into the incident, according to police.
No other details were immediately available.
