LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — Lebanon County police have charged a man accused to stealing $60,000 worth of property from a building.
According to the Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department, on June 11 at 3:05 p.m., officers were notified of a man inside the former PACMA Mill located at 475 East High Street in Palmyra.
The man was taken into custody by officers after he reportedly tried to flee. He was identified as Timothy Joseph Costello, 54.
Costello was wearing the same clothing as a man previously caught on cameras inside the building. He was reportedly caught on camera removing wiring and electrical components.
Costello was interviewed and allegedly admitted to stealing wiring and electrical components from the building over the course of several weeks. He allegedly stole $60,000 worth of property from the building and a repair estimate will cost $70,000 in labor to repair the damage.
Costello was transported to Lebanon County Central Booking on charges of burglary, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
His bail has been set at $100,000.
