LEBANON, Pa. — One person is dead after a Sunday evening motorcycle crash in Lebanon.

The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on July 14 at the intersection of Mifflin and Hanover Streets, according to the Lebanon City Police Department.

Alfredo Pizarro-Franco, 39, was pronounced dead at the hospital despite life-saving efforts by police and EMS, the LCPD said.

Officers say witness statements, statements from those involved in the crash and video evidence all suggest that Pizarro-Franco was driving his motorcycle the wrong way down Hanover Street when he failed to stop at its intersection with Mifflin Street and drove straight into the driver's side door of an SUV.

The driver of the SUV did not contribute to the crash and was not injured, according to the LCPD.
