LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — One person has been hospitalized after a plane crashed into a cornfield in Lebanon County.
The small plane crashed just before 3:30 p.m. on the 1800 block of South Forge Road in South Londonderry Township.
According to the South Londonderry Township Police Department, the experimental aircraft (a Kitfox Speedster) was beginning to take off and then suddenly veered to the left, according to the pilot.
The pilot sustained minor injuries and the passenger had moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Hershey Medical Center for evaluation.
