Police searching for Lebanon County bank robbery suspect

The man allegedly robbed a Truist Bank branch in Myerstown Tuesday morning, according to State Police.

MYERSTOWN, Pa. — State Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a bank in Lebanon County Tueday morning.

The robbery occurred at Truist Bank on the 200 block of West Lincoln Avenue in Myerstown, police said.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank at 11:47 a.m. He approached a teller and demanded money, telling her he had a weapon.

The teller gave the suspect about $2,800 in cash, at which point he fled from the bank, heading east on foot, police said. 

Police searched the area, but could not find the suspect, who is described as a male in his 30's, approximately six feet tall, wearing a gray sweatshirt and a blue hospital mask.
