CORNWALL, Pa. — One person died and several others were injured in a crash Thursday afternoon in Lebanon County, authorities said Friday.
Marilus Mousardy, 30, of Reading, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which involved two mini-vans. It occurred around 4:56 p.m. at the intersection of State Drive and Schaffer Road in South Lebanon Township, police said.
An investigation determined that one of the vehicles, which contained nine people, was struck while traveling in the lane of the other vehicle, which was occupied by three people.
The occupants of both vehicles were transported by ambulance or helicopter to several medical facilities. Their conditions were not immediately available, according to South Lebanon Township Police.
The crash remains under investigation.
