LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — Luzerne County will pay $30,000 to settle a lawsuit regarding a paper shortage known as 'Papergate.'
That's when some polling locations ran out of paper during the 2022 election.
Two voters say they couldn't vote because of the shortage at polling places in Freeland and Shickshinny and sued the county.
In addition to the money, Luzerne County says election workers will be trained on 'ordering sufficient paper.'
