MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Lewistown man died on Thursday after losing control of his ATV and crashing.
Gary Clark, 73, died after being ejected from the 2011 Polaris Sportsman he was driving on US-522 in Decatur Township on March 14.
State police say Clark was turning on a curve when his hat flew off his head. Clark tried to catch the hat, which caused him to pull on the handle of the ATV.
Police say the ATV's wheels caught on the road and the vehicle began to roll over.
First responders found Clark unresponsive on the road.
