MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa. — Several firefighters were reportedly injured while battling a Mifflin County house fire.
According to the Lewistown Fire Department, at 10:54 a.m., first responders were directed to a house along Valley Street.
At the scene, firefighters noted fire from one unit, quickly spreading to nearby homes.
According to the Lewistown Fire Department, crews encountered heavy fire conditions while fighting the flames. Several firefighters were reportedly injured and transported to Lewistown Hospital, where two were further treated for burns.
Crews fought the flames for nearly four hours.
It's unclear at this time how the fire began or if anyone was displaced as a result.
