Clothes swap event in Cumberland County to benefit domestic violence services

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A clothes swap event is being held in Cumberland County to benefit domestic violence services across the area.

Set for Oct. 18 from 5-8 p.m. and Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the juncture will be held at Creative Ground Studio, an art gallery and event space at 36 W. Main St. in Mechanicsburg.

The event, which requires the purchase of a ticket, allows the customer to fill one large shopping bag with all the items one can fit inside.

Funds collected from the tickets will go towards domestic violence services in Cumberland and Perry Counties.

Friday night tickets cost $45, and come with a shopping bag, cocktails & appetizers, and a grand prize raffle ticket entry to win two hours of professional organizing services from Details by Karen.

Saturday morning tickets cost $25 and come with a shopping bag, and light refreshments.
