Harrisburg Bureau of Police are continuing to investigate a deadly shooting that left a woman dead on Monday night.

On Monday, May 13 around 5:45 p.m, police responded to the area of North 4th and Woodbine Streets for a report of shots fired.

At the scene, officers found an adult woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was immediately transported to a local hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.

Police have begun an investigation, and there is no word on whether there is a suspect.

This comes after less than two weeks ago, when another deadly shooting occurred on Woodbine Street near a grocery store.

27-year-old Christian Watt was killed and last Friday, and police arrested Jerome Coleman Jr. in connection to the shooting.

There was a community cleanup on Monday in response, where organizers cut grass, picked up trash and pulled up weeds to clean up the Governor's Square Neighborhood.
