Franklin Street Social, a new food hall, is set to open in York County this weekend

A unique food hall experience is set to open on Nov. 17. It features 13 restaurants, a bar, live music stage, adult-sized slide, and more.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A new food hall, known as Franklin Street Social, is set to open in Red Lion this Sunday, November 17th.

It features 13 unique restaurants, a kids' play zone, an adult-sized two cozy fireplaces, a vibrant bar, and more.

"It's a little something for everybody," said co-owner, Ethan Greer.

He and co-owner Jordan Ilyes, say they hope to enrich the local community by providing a variety of dining options, tourism, while creating over 70 job opportunities.

"The energy is amazing, we're so excited to share this space with everybody that me and Jordan have been working on for two years. It's quite beautiful," Greer said.

"We're just so excited to have such a good representation of culinary experts here in this spot," said Ilyes.

"I really think that this just creates a space that we can finally kick down that door of the COVID [pandemic] and get back to going out, having fun, and having things to do with your kids, meeting up with your friends, just a genuine place that we can all meet," Greer said.

The official grand opening will be Sunday at noon, and they'll stay open until 8 p.m.

  • Tuesday-Thursday 11am-8pm
  • Friday & Saturday 11am-8pm (bar open till 10)
  • Sunday 12-8pm
