YORK, Pa. — September is National Suicide Prevention Month: a time when "mental health advocates, prevention organizations, survivors, allies, and community members unite to promote suicide prevention awareness," according to SuicidePreventionLifeline.org.
Flora Posteraro and Carrie Perry joined FOX43 on Aug. 30 to discuss mental wellness as we enter National Suicide Prevention Month.
This week, the chicks spoke with Jackie Bieber, a mother who lost her daughter to suicide. Now, Bieber works to raise suicide prevention awareness, and is fighting to keep her daughter's memory alive.
