MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — The Lisburn Community Fire Company announced today that is has made the "really hard" decision to cancel Friday's Olde Time Festival activities due to heavy rain in the forecast.
Organizers say the decision was not easy, but it was the best option due to a multitude of factors, including difficulty parking due to the predicted downpour.
To make up for Friday's loss, organizers have decided to extend the festival an extra day. Guests can enjoy the Olde Time Festival from noon - 5 p.m. on Aug. 11.
The fire company says those interested should check its Facebook for more updates as the week progresses.
