PERRY COUNTY, Pa. — One man is dead after a crash in Perry County yesterday.
Roberto Lugo III was pronounced dead at the scene, Pennsylvania State Police said. The crash occurred on Newport Road (Route 849) just before Narrows Road in Millers Township at 7:26 p.m. on March 6.
Troopers say Lugo was driving west on Newport Road in a Mitsubishi Outlander when he lost control of the car and veered off the north side of the road. The Outlander hit the embankment and rolled onto the driver's side, and Lugo was partially thrown from the car.
Newport Road was closed for about two and a half hours while PSP investigated.
