Two dogs killed, 15 residents displaced in Perry County house fire

According to Liverpool Fire Chief Lyle Sarver, three buildings were affected and have been deemed uninhabitable following the fire.

LIVERPOOL, Pa. — Multiple fire crews responded Tuesday to a residential fire in Perry County.

It was reported around 10 a.m. at a home on the 200 block of North Front Street in Liverpool, according to emergency dispatch.

The fire was confirmed as a three-alarm fire by the Linglestown Fire Co. and New Buffalo Fire Companies.

The Linglestown Fire Co. reported at about 1:30 p.m. that its members had been on the scene for a few hours along with other units from Dauphin County.

According to Liverpool Fire Chief Lyle Sarver, three buildings were affected and have been deemed uninhabitable following the fire. Fifteen residents have been displaced. 

There were no injuries to residents of the building, however, two dogs were reportedly killed in the blaze. Some minor injuries were sustained by fire crews but they weren't non-life-threatening. 

The fire is now fully contained and crews are conducting cleanup.
