Police seek help identifying suspect accused of damaging Perry County church

The man allegedly backed his pickup truck into the glass doors of the New Buffalo Alliance Church, breaking the glass and damaging the door's frame.

NEWPORT, Pa. — State Police are trying to identify a suspect accused of damaging a church in Perry County.

The incident occurred at about 1:10 a.m. on July 4 at the New Buffalo Alliance Church on the 3300 block of Susquehanna Trail, State Police said.

The suspect drove into the parking lot and was seen looking into the church's glass doors. After driving around the parking lot multiple times, he backed his pickup truck into the glass doors, breaking the glass and damaging the door's metal frame, according to police.

The suspect was driving a newer model white Ford F-150 pickup truck with unknown registration, according to police.
