YORK, Pa. — If you are a pickleball fanatic or you’re just looking to get into the sport, there are some fresh courts at Cousler Park in York County serving up a new option for players, and they’re ready to welcome you.
On Wednesday morning, the park hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of eight new pickleball courts in Manchester Township.
This project has been months in the making and something the community has really been waiting for, according to Township manager Tim James.
Manchester Township says the park includes a 1.16 (short route) or 1.47 mile (long route) walking trail, four baseball/softball fields, six soccer fields, playground structures, tennis and basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, three pavilions and a pond.
