A Cumberland County roadway has been closed due to a tractor trailer crash, the county's public communications page said Tuesday.
The crash occurred on Greenspring Road (Route 641) between Bullshead Road and Ridge Road in North Newton Township, the announcement said.
The truck was carrying more than 500 pigs, some of which escaped and are being rounded up, authorities said.
It was reported shortly after 1 p.m.
The roadway is closed until further notice, the announcement said. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
