CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A juvenile driver was injured in a crash after a car chase with authorities, Upper Allen Township Police Department said.
On June 9 around 4:20 a.m., East Pennsboro Township and Lower Allen Township Police followed a stolen Chevy Suburban into Upper Allen Township before the driver lost control of the truck, which hit a railroad embankment resulting in a rollover crash at the intersection of MT Allen Drive and E. Lisburn Road.
Police say they identified the driver to be an unlicensed child, and they were taken to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center with minor injuries.
East Pennsboro Township Police is handling the criminal charges of the chase.
