YORK, Pa. — Update, Feb. 10: The York City Police Department has identified and arrested two men suspected to be connected with the shooting.
Douglas Dennis, 47, was charged with simple assault and persons not to possess a firearm.
Gregory Counts, 54, was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and persons not to possess a firearm.
Previous: Police responded to a shooting in York earlier this afternoon.
According to York County 911 Dispatch, the shooting occurred along the 600 block of East Market Street in York City. The first call to police came in at 1:44 p.m.
It is unclear at this time the nature of the shooting or if a suspect has been apprehended.
