HARRISBURG, Pa. — Rabbittransit on Thursday announced its modified service schedule for the holidays.
The transit company's fixed route service will end at 6:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve (Sunday, December 24) and also on New Year’s Eve (Sunday, December 31).
Fixed Route service will make its last departures from King Street Station at 5:30 p.m. on those days, rabbittransit said. No new trips will leave Transfer Center after the 5:30 p.m. departures.
Trips beginning prior to or at 5:30 p.m. will complete their scheduled round-trip and conclude at Transfer Center.
Additionally, on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, complementary ADA Paratransit Service will end at 6:30 p.m., and no reservations will be accepted for pick-up later than 5:30 p.m., rabbittransit said.
There will be no service on December 25 or January 1, in observance of Christmas and New Year's Day, rabbittransit said.
The company'sCapital Region fixed route service and paratransit service also will not operate on Christmas and New Year's Day.
