YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The York County Office of Emergency Management helped the Red Cross install free smoke alarms at a home in York on Friday.
The goal of the installation was to raise awareness about the Red Cross program that offers free smoke alarms and installation, officials said.
"We're here to support the citizens of York County and help them out. This is one way that we're doing it, trying to say lives," Ted Czech, Public Information Officer said.
