ALTOONA, Pa. — Sheetz is hiring nearly 800 new employees across Pennsylvania, and is hosting on-the-spot interview events all of its locations across the Commonwealth on Wednesday.
More than 300 Pennsylvania stores are participating in hiring events today from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the company said.
Sheetz has been named a 100 Best Company to Work For for eight straight years by Fortune and Great Places to Work, and said it will offer competitive pay and benefits packages to all employees, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, an employee stock ownership plan, tuition reimbursement, flexible schedules, opportunities for advancement, quarterly bonuses, vacation time and more.
Sheetz also offers 12 weeks of fully paid time off for new mothers and two weeks of fully paid time off for partners.
Prospective employees interested in attending the hiring event will need to apply for a store position online at www.jobs.sheetz.com before arriving at the event. Once inside the store, individuals will then need to check in at the cash register.

The events are part of a company-wide effort to fill 2,220 positions across Sheetz's six-state footprint. There are more than 720 Sheetz locations in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland.
