LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police in Lancaster County will be performing extra enforcement on County roadways this weekend.
The enforcement will include patrol checks and a sobriety checkpoint on an undisclosed highway.
Troop J says it is working with local police to help maintain safety during busy travel weekends.
"The summer travel period is a time for vacations and getaways, but it is also a time to exercise caution on the roadways of the Commonwealth," PSP said in a press release.
The organization encourages motorists to drive carefully.
