LAWNTON, Pa. — Update, Aug. 14: The Swatara Township Emergency Management Authority announced that as of 4 a.m. this morning, the water main break is repaired and all water services are being restored.
Update: A spokesperson for Veolia Water issued the following statement Tuesday afternoon:
"Repairs are continuing on a water main in Swatara. Approximately, 1,200 customers are affected. Some customers may be without water service, have limited pressure or discolored water.
"Our crew will stay on the scene until repairs can be completed. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the repair will take a few more hours to complete. We appreciate our customers' patience."

Work crews have been dispatched to address a water main break in Swatara Township, Dauphin County on Tuesday, emergency officials said.
The break was reported shortly after 6 a.m. on Derry Street, near East Park Drive, according to Swatara Township Emergency Management Authority.
Work crews from Veolia Water are on the scene, but there was no immediate estimate on when repairs would be completed, emergency officials said.
The break reportedly affects customers in the Lawnton, Rutherford and Lenker Manor areas, according to emergency officials.
