HARRISBURG, Pa. — UPMC Magee-Womens Hospitals in Central Pennsylvania would like you to meet some of the 12 Leap Day babies born at member facilities in its network on Thursday.
Their arrivals were celebrated with special, one-of-a-kind UPMC Magee Women's onesies.
Of the 12 Leap Day babies born in UPMC Magee-Womens facilities in Central Pa. Thursday, eight were born at UPMC-Lititz in Lancaster County UPMC said.
These babies will celebrate their birthdays once every four years, making it a unique and memorable occasion.
“At UPMC Magee, we celebrate every baby born,” said Kenneth J. Oken, M.D., chair of Obstetrics & Gynecology, UPMC Magee-Womens in Central Pa. “Babies are a reminder of love, life and hope. It's a joy to celebrate them and a privilege to be given the responsibility to serve our communities.”
