YORK, Pa. — For the first time ever, fair-goers will be able to see a sloth at the York State Fair this year!
Giant snakes, chameleons, alligators, crocodiles and monkeys will also hit the stage for shows this weekend.
The Reptile and Wildlife Stage Show and Exhibit is a 30-minute stage show that is free for fair patrons. Attendees will get to learn about the animals, and those brave enough to join the show may get a chance to be involved in some audience participation. Guests can also purchase tickets for meet and greets with the gators, monkeys and snakes.
"The kids go wild to meet the snake because we stretch the snake out all the way along throughout the show," Jim DeBerry, executive director of Wildlife Adventure Center, said.
