Motorcycle crashes with vehicle, 1 dead

Officials said the motorcyclist didn't stop at a stop sign and crashed into an SUV.

YORK, Pa. — Update Dec. 10: The York County Coroner's Office identified Miguel Perez as the victim of Friday's crash.

York City Police continues to investigate the crash. The exact circumstances surrounding it are still being determined.

An autopsy is now scheduled for Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Previous: One person is dead following a Friday evening crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

Just after 6 p.m., the county coroner was called to the scene of the crash, on the corner of North West Street and Madison Avenue, where the motorcycle driver was pronounced dead.

Officials said the motorcyclist didn't stop at a stop sign and crashed into an SUV.

The 25-year-old victim died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the coroner's office.

There won't be an autopsy but a routine toxicology report was done.

The victim's identification will be released at a later time.
