YORK COUNTY, Pa. — PennDOT is reminding travelers of a bridge replacement project beginning Wednesday, May 29 on Red Lion Avenue (Route 2079) in Felton Borough, York County.
The bridge spans from North Branch Muddy Creek between Rippling Run Road (Route 2060) and Main Street (Route 2054) in the borough.
Weather permitting, work will begin Wednesday, May 29. As a result, the bridge will be closed.
A detour will be in place using Rippling Run Road (Route 2060) and Route 24. The detour is expected to remain in place until Nov. 14, 2024, according to PennDOT.
All work is expected to be completed by May 20, 2025. Lobar Site Development Corp. of Dillsburg is the contractor of the $2,231,327 project.
