Loose bull captured in York County, traffic briefly disrupted

According to a PennDOT spokesperson, the Texas Longhorn bull was"running amok" along Interstate 83 near Exit: 36 (Fishing Creek).

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A bull was loose in York County! 

According to a PennDOT spokesperson, the Texas Longhorn bull was "running amok" along Interstate 83 near Exit: 36 (Fishing Creek). 

The Fairview Township Police Department reported that the steer had escaped from a trailer he was being transported in. 

Before he was corraled, the bull made an appearance at the front doors of Handyside Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical. Check out the video below! 

Before he departed, the steer left a parting gift on the front door of Handyside's business.

The bull was reportedly wrangled around 3:50 p.m. With the help of multiple people, officers were able to get the bull loaded back into his trailer.

Traffic delays were in the area for about an hour as crews worked to wrangle the runaway bull.
