Coroner called to the scene of a crash in York County

Eisenhower Drive between Wilson Avenue and Eichelberger Street was closed for hours while crews reconstructed the crash.

HANOVER, Pa. — Update, June 28 (1:25 p.m.): The York County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 75-year-old Paulette Dubbs, of McSherrystown, Adams County.

An autopsy determined she died of multiple blunt force trauma due to the crash after a probable coronary event.

The York County Coroner was called to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in Hanover late Saturday morning.

Eisenhower Drive between Wilson Avenue and Eichelberger Street was closed for approximately four hours while crews investigated and reconstructed the crash that happened around 11:46 a.m.

Officials say the crash happened when a Kia Soul crossed four lanes of traffic and crashed into two other vehicles before finally coming to a stop.

The driver of the Kia, a woman who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the county coroner's office.

The name of the victim will not be released until her family is notified.

There will not be an autopsy but a routine state toxicology will be done.

Hanover Borough Police continue to investigate.
