YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A multi-vehicle crash resulted in the death of one person on Saturday.
According to the York County Coroner's office, officials were dispatched to Mt. Airy Road and Buchanan Avenue in Shrewsbury Township at 6:15 p.m. for a reported fatality after a two-vehicle crash.
A vehicle driven by a 61-year-old woman had reportedly crashed into a second vehicle, which had two occupants inside, just after 6 p.m. Coroners pronounced the 61-year-old female deceased at the scene at 7 p.m.
The second vehicle's two occupants were transported from the scene, and their condition is currently unknown.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
